Your goods are covered by the statutory carrier liability of €620 per cubic metre; on request we arrange extended transport insurance at replacement value. We work with permanent, fairly paid staff and our own fleet instead of subcontractors – careful handling of furniture and porcelain included.
Would you rather not deal with the many official tasks around a move? With our relocation service we take care of that for you – for job-related moves and employee assignments as well as for private customers who want to save time. We handle, among other things, finding a home and checking the tenancy agreement, registration and re-registration at the residents’ registration office at your new location, day-care and school places, bank account and insurance, and connecting electricity, internet & co. That way you arrive at your new place in Germany relaxed from the very start.

What does a move in Germany cost?
The cost of a long-distance move within Germany depends mainly on the volume, distance, floor level and the services you choose. After a personal consultation you receive a binding fixed-price quote with no hidden costs – you know exactly what to expect before the order. As a guide, here are our reference prices (local moves up to approx. 50 km; long-distance moves according to distance):

The final price is determined by further factors – e.g. the carrying distance for loading and unloading, heavy-item transport (such as a piano or safe), furniture assembly, floor or lift, and any additional services requested.
Rule of thumb: roughly half of your living space in m² equals the volume in m³ (100 m² ≈ 50 m³); 1 m³ is about 10 moving boxes. Different guide prices apply for regional moves, long-distance moves, office moves and storage – simply ask us.

No-parking zone & special permits – organised nationwide
A no-parking zone keeps the loading area clear right in front of your door and makes the move faster and gentler – especially in densely built-up city centres from Berlin through Hamburg to Munich, where parking is scarce and short distances to the truck are decisive.
On request we apply for the no-parking zone and all necessary special parking permits with the responsible public order office – at both moving addresses, nationwide – and put up the signs in good time. That way you do not have to deal with the permits at the old and new location yourself; we advise you individually based on your addresses.

What does a long-distance move within Germany cost?
The cost depends on volume, distance, floor level and the services you choose. As a guide, local moves start at around €1,500 from 30 m³ (about a 2–3-room flat) and from €2,300 from 50 m³; for Germany-wide long-distance moves the distance is added. You receive your exact fixed price with no hidden costs after a personal consultation.
How long does a Germany-wide move take?
That depends on distance and volume. Routes of up to about 400–500 km are easily done within a day. For very long distances (e.g. from the North Sea to the Allgäu) or large volumes we plan the transport over two days. With the part-load service the date is based on the route we are travelling anyway.
What does part-load mean and who is it worth it for?
With the part-load service we transport your goods together with other loads on a route we are travelling anyway. This is particularly cost-effective if you only have a small volume or single items – such as a single family heirloom or a piano that needs to go to your granddaughter in another city. You then only pay for the load space used.
Do you also handle the packing?
Yes – entirely as you wish. Either we deliver optimal packing material and moving boxes to you in good time in advance and collect everything punctually afterwards, or our team packs your entire household professionally and unpacks it again at the new home. We treat delicate items such as porcelain and antiques with particular care.
Who takes care of no-parking zones and special permits?
On request we apply for no-parking zones and all necessary special parking permits with the responsible public order office – at both moving addresses, nationwide – and put up the signs in good time. Especially in city centres this ensures a clear loading area right in front of the door and shorter carrying distances.
Can I have my goods stored in the meantime?
Yes. In our video-monitored, heatable container storage we store your belongings securely – from a complete household to antiques, professionally packed and protected from unauthorised access. This is ideal when the old and new home do not overlap seamlessly in time. A storage container (approx. 32.5 m³) holds about a 2–3-room household.
Are my belongings insured during transport?
Yes. Every move is covered by the statutory carrier liability of €620 per cubic metre (current value). Especially on long routes across Germany we recommend additional extended transport insurance at the replacement value of your household goods, which we arrange for you on request.
How early should I enquire about my long-distance move?
For Germany-wide moves we recommend a lead time of around 6–8 weeks, earlier during the peak season from June to August. This allows your preferred date, part-load routes and special permits to be planned reliably. Thanks to our own teams and fleet, short-notice dates are often still possible.
Do you also dismantle my kitchen and reassemble it at the new location?
Yes. Our team dismantles simple kitchens and reassembles them at the destination. For complex fitted kitchens we work together with the kitchen studio and handle safe transport so that your kitchen arrives undamaged.
