Pack or store?
The hardest question in a senior move is often: what do I take with me, what do I part with? Between taking along and throwing away there is a third option – storage.
Furniture, household goods and anything you’d like to keep but can’t (yet) take with you, we store safely in our video-monitored, heated container warehouse – from everyday items to valuable antiques, carefully packed and protected from unauthorised access. That gives you time to decide without losing anything.

Frequently asked questions about senior moves
What does a senior move cost?
It depends mainly on the scope you choose – from transport only to a full service with packing, storage, disposal and final clean. For local moves, a rough guide is from about €1,500 (30 m³) or from €2,300 (50 m³). You receive your fixed price after a personal consultation.
Do you really handle everything – including unpacking and arranging?
Yes. On request we take care of it all from A to Z: sorting out, break-proof packing, furniture dismantling, transport, assembly, hanging lamps, pictures and curtains, and carefully arranging items in the cupboards. You choose what you’d like to do yourself.
What happens to furniture that doesn't move with me?
You decide: we store it safely in our heated, video-monitored container warehouse, or professionally dispose of whatever is no longer needed – exactly as you wish.
Do you help with sorting out and clearing the home?
Yes. We help with sorting cupboard contents, with clearing and renovation work in the old home and with the final clean – so the handover goes smoothly.
Do you also support official errands and re-registration?
Yes. On request we help with re-registration and other official errands around the move, so you don’t have to worry about a thing.
Can relatives organise the move from a distance?
Yes. You have one dedicated personal contact from start to finish – no call centre. They are easy for relatives to reach and coordinate every step with you.
How carefully do you handle keepsakes and antiques?
Careful handling of your belongings is our top priority. For vases, bureaus, armchairs, art and antiques we use special packing materials so everything arrives undamaged at the new home.
How early should I enquire about a senior move?
We recommend 4–6 weeks’ lead time, earlier in peak season. Thanks to our own teams and fleet, short-notice dates are often still possible.
Do you also handle moves into a senior residence or care facility?
Yes. Whether a smaller flat, assisted living, a senior residence or moving in with the children – we plan the move to suit your new living situation, including layout planning of the new rooms.
Are my belongings insured?
Yes. Every move is covered by the statutory carrier liability of €620 per cubic metre; on request we arrange extended transport insurance at replacement value.
