n line with the current Corona regulations, stays in hotels and serviced apartments in Germany for personal or business purposes are allowed on a 2G rule “geimpft” (vaccinated) or “genesen” (recovered) or 3G rule “geimpft” (vaccinated) or “genesen” (recovered) or “getestet” (tested).
The enforcement of the 2G /3G rules varies across the federal states, please check here for the specifics. Accordingly, the accommodation providers cannot accept the check-in if the 2G/3G requirements are not fulfilled as applicable. PCR tests or antigen tests might be required at the time of check in to the accommodation.

Which COVID-19 vaccines are recognized in Germany?
There are four vaccines which are currently approved in the EU which are used in Germany:

- People vaccinated with two different vaccines are considered to be fully vaccinated if:
The vaccines used have been approved by the authorities in Germany and the EU (EMA) and - The vaccines were administered in accordance with the local regulations.
People that have been vaccinated with other vaccines which are currently not recognized in Germany are NOT considered to be vaccinated.
What is a proof of vaccination or recovery?
Proof of vaccination must be documented in the form of a recognized certificate, e.g. EU Digital COVID Certificate or other proof of vaccination. The proof of vaccination must contain first name, last name, date of birth, date of vaccination and the vaccine used, in German, English, French, Italian or Spanish, and photos of written evidence are typically not accepted as proof of digital form.
Proof of recovery: Typically, a proof of recovery must be presented in German or in English, only and from a six-month period.
